Oriental Medicine Doctor
Duties and Responsibilities: Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and specialized oriental medicine procedures and treatments for a specified patient population. Prescribes herbal and other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Provides counseling and education regarding physical, emotional, and spiritual balance in lifestyle.

Salary: $30,000-$150,000

Education: Minimum requirements include satisfactory completion of at least two (2) academic years (60 semester credits/90 quarter credits) of education at the baccalaureate level that is appropriate preparation for graduate level work, or the equivalent (e.g., certification in a medical profession requiring at least the equivalent training of a registered nurse or a physician’s assistant), from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
